Welcome to our facility which is situated on 5 industrially zoned acres located at 16030 Bear Bayou Dr., Channelview, TX. The facility has undergone continuous improvements and expansions since Rig-Up Services purchased the location. Our facility currently has a 10,000 sq.ft. shop area with two 5-ton cranes and a 1,300 sq.ft. parts and tool room. In the facility we have mig, tig, stick, and portable diesel welding machines, plasma cutters, an industrial cutoff saw and a Piranha iron worker. Also available are three forklifts with over 20,000 lb lift capacity, an 8-ton Broderson mobile crane and a 450 ton Chicago Break press for making our own crimp plate. We have over 3,500 square feet of office space on two floors. The entire location is enclosed by a 6′ chain link fence with barbed wire along the top and 4 acres, stabilized, lay down yard.
Rig-Up utilizes a 20’ x 60’ blast room using recoverable steel shot and two 20’ x 60’ paint rooms all enclosed so that weather conditions do not effect our schedule. We are well known by Max Rowe at DSA Coatings for our superior craftsmanship and the speed at which we are able push our products through.
In response to increasing demand for Rig-Up’s products and services, on August 6, 2008 Rig-Up acquired 44+ acres nearby its current facility where it has completed plans and obtained permitting to development a new state-of-the-art production facility. The innovative design will house over 40,000 square feet of streamlined manufacturing, blasting and coatings operations with over 100,000 square feet of staging, unitization and commissioning areas.
lOver the years, working as the Electrical Contractor for H & P, we have refurbished older rigs and built new rigs for both land and offshore. We have worked with H & P on the Flex project since its inception through the current Flex 4 model, a new and innovative concept within the drilling industry. We have also assisted in the building of the newest of H & P’s offshore projects, Rigs 203-206.
Our experienced electricians, painters, welders, helpers can travel to any work location for your convenience. Also, our office personnel are available to assist your company at any time.
