Rig-Up Services, Inc. is a manufacturer and fabricator of heavy industrial metal structures. Founded in 1994 the Company began as a wiring and controls subcontractor to the oilfield. Then known as Rig-Up Electrical Services, the Company spent the next several years developing a loyal client base within the oilfield industry.
In 2004 Rig-Up Services purchased a manufacturing facility where it currently operates to expand its scope of services to include the manufacturing and coating of drilling rig components.
Today, Rig-Up provides turn-key solutions including complete fabrication,
blasting, coating and electrical unitization of drilling rig structures.
Rig-Up is one-stop shop providing consistent quality, superior workmanship
and competitive pricing with quick turn-around and on-time deliveries.
Rig-Up Services is located at 16030 Bear Bayou Dr., Channelview, TX just
outside Houston’s Beltway 8.
The facility currently consists of an 18,000 sf. shop area with two 5-ton
overhead cranes and a 1300 sf. Parts and tool room. Fabrication is accomplished
through the use of state-of-the-art machinery and equipment including mig,
tig, stick, and portable diesel welding machines, plasma cutters, an industrial
cutoff saw and a Piranha iron worker.
Also available are three forklifts over 20,000 lbs, an 8-ton Broderson mobile
crane and a 450 ton Chicago Break press for making our own crimp plate. We
have over 3500 square feet of office space on two floors. The entire location
is enclosed by a 6 foot chain link fence with barbed wire along the top,
and has a 4 acre stabilized lay down yard.
Additionally, Rig-Up has a 20’ x 60’ blast room using recoverable steel shot
and two 20’ x 60’ paint rooms all totally enclosed so that weather conditions
do not effect work schedules. Rig-Up prides itself on exceptional blast/paint
work and is well known by Max Rowe at DSA Coatings for our superior craftsmanship
and exceptional delivery speed.

a single motor reconnect, bearing change or welding repair to the entire
project. Over the years, working as the sole Electrical Contractor for Helmerich & Payne,
we have helped refurbish older rigs and built new rigs, for land and offshore.
We have worked with H & P on the Flex project since its inception through
the current Flex 4 project, a new and innovative concept in the drilling industry.
We have also assisted in building the newest of H & P’s offshore projects
Rigs 203-206.
Our electricians, welders and painters can travel to any work location at
your request. Our experienced electricians, painters, welders, helpers, even
our office space and land are available to aid your company at any time.
