Brazil Trade Mission

August 1, 2009

Recently the U.S. Department of Commerce assisted a management team from Rig-Up Services, Inc. with a four day trade mission to Rio de Janerio and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Our delegation met with some of the largest oilfield and engineering companies in Brazil with contracts directly with Petrobras.

Our reception was warm and welcome as Brazil is moving swiftly to capture as much of the oil market as possible, given their discoveries of vast deposits of oil both inland and offshore. Many companies are aggressively looking for partnerships with American firms that can assist them in areas of expertise they lack. We are now positioned to work well with the 20+ companies with whom we met during our four day visit.
